About
Covering around twelve hectares, the park was laid out for the archbishops of Eger and later opened to the public, earning the local name Népkert, the People's Garden. Its avenues of trees, lawns and quiet paths make it the town's favourite place for a stroll.
Best time to go: Stroll here on a warm afternoon for shade after the castle and the basilica.
