About
The park was laid out for the Cork International Exhibition of 1902 and named after the lord mayor of the time. Its gardens contain ornamental ponds, a playground and works of public art, and the Georgian house within it hosts the Cork Public Museum on the city's history.
Best time to go: Combine it with Cork City Gaol, which is a short walk across the river.
