About
Dating back to the fourteenth century, the temple once housed the Phra Buddha Sihing image that gives it its name. Its main hall has finely carved doors, and the calm, shady compound gives a sense of the city's long history as a Lanna capital.
Best time to go: Pair it with nearby Wat Phra Kaew for a short walk through the old centre.
