About

Founded in the fourteenth century, the temple is named after the Phra Buddha Sihing, a revered image kept in the elegant Viharn Lai Kham. That hall is decorated with gilded carving and murals showing daily life in old Lanna, and the temple is a focus of celebrations during the Songkran new year festival.

Best time to go: Go early in the morning, and look closely at the murals inside the small Viharn Lai Kham.
