About
Tradition dates the temple to the city's foundation at the end of the thirteenth century. Its square chedi is supported by a row of stone elephants, and one of its halls shelters two small, highly venerated images, including a crystal Buddha believed to protect against misfortune.
Best time to go: Visit in the quiet of the morning and look for the elephants supporting the old chedi.
