About
Once a Jesuit estate, Lužánky was opened to the public by Emperor Joseph II in 1786, making it the first park of its kind in the Czech lands. Mature trees, open lawns and a pond give it an informal English feel, and it remains a favourite place for Brno families to walk and relax.
Best time to go: A pleasant stroll on a summer evening, when locals gather on the lawns and under the old trees.
