About
Housed in an Ottoman covered market and caravanserai, the museum holds finds from Çatalhöyük, Hittite reliefs, Phrygian treasures and Urartian bronzes. It offers one of the best introductions to the many civilisations that flourished on the Anatolian plateau.
Best time to go: Pair it with the citadel just above, and give the Hittite rooms the most time.
