About
Built as the Canadian pavilion for Expo 86, the building's white fabric roofs recall a ship under sail. It houses a cruise ship terminal, a convention centre and a hotel, and its outer promenade gives fine views over the harbour. A flight simulator attraction offers a tour of Canada's landscapes.
Best time to go: Walk the promenade around it at sunset for views of the harbour, seaplanes and North Shore mountains.
