About
Opened in 1914, the ROM grew into a museum of millions of objects spanning art, archaeology and science. Its collections range from dinosaur skeletons and minerals to Chinese temple art and First Peoples galleries. The angular Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, added in 2007 by Daniel Libeskind, bursts out from the original heritage building on Bloor Street.
Best time to go: Head to the dinosaur galleries early, then explore the world cultures collections at a gentler pace.
