About
The Heptapyrgion, or Yedi Kule, occupies the north-eastern corner of the city walls and blends Byzantine towers with Ottoman additions. It served as a prison until 1989 and has since been restored, its walls framing wide views over the city and the sea.
Best time to go: Pair it with a walk through Ano Poli and come late in the day for the view over the city.
