About
The present eclectic building replaced a humble earlier church in the late nineteenth century, when Rosario was growing rapidly as a grain port. Its Italianate façade and dome overlook the main square, and inside it keeps a venerated colonial image of the Virgin of the Rosary brought from Spain.
Best time to go: Visit alongside the Flag Memorial and the city hall, which all stand within a few steps of each other.
