About
Built for the Jubilee Exhibition of 1891, the tower was inspired by the Eiffel Tower, which members of the Czech Tourist Club had admired in Paris. Nearly three hundred steps lead to a platform looking over the rooftops and spires of Prague, and the hilltop park also holds a mirror maze and a rose garden.
Best time to go: Ride the funicular up Petřín Hill, then walk down through the orchards on a clear afternoon.
