About

Leonardo painted The Last Supper on the refectory wall of this Dominican convent in the 1490s, using an experimental technique that began to deteriorate within his lifetime. Carefully restored, it is seen in small groups for a short time, and the church itself has a graceful tribune attributed to Bramante.

Best time to go: Book Last Supper tickets as far ahead as possible, as visits are timed and very limited.
