About
Bến Thành Market in District 1 is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and a symbol of the city. Nearly 1,500 stalls sell everything from fabrics and household goods to souvenirs and street food. The market operates by day, and the streets around it turn into a night market after it closes. Thousands of local and foreign visitors pass through every day.
Best time to go: Come in the morning for the food stalls, and haggle politely at the clothing and souvenir stands.
