About
The domed stone hall of the Landungsbrücken was built in the early twentieth century, when ocean steamers docked here. Today its floating pontoons serve harbour cruises and public ferries, and cafés and fish stalls line the promenade. The entrance to the old Elbe Tunnel stands close by, and historic ships are moored nearby.
Best time to go: Use a regular harbour ferry from here for a cheap and scenic trip along the Elbe.
