About

Begun in 1909, four hundred years after Calvin's birth, and completed in 1917, the monument stretches along the old city walls in the Parc des Bastions. Its central figures are Calvin, Farel, Beza and Knox, flanked by statues and reliefs of other Protestant figures.

Best time to go: Walk through the Parc des Bastions on your way up to the old town.
