About
Built over some 150 years from 1343, St Mary's is a colossal brick Gothic basilica with a vast whitewashed interior. Its treasures include an astronomical clock of the fifteenth century and a copy of Hans Memling's Last Judgement, whose original is in the National Museum.
Best time to go: Climb the four hundred steps of the tower for a view over the rooftops of the Main Town.
