About
Q'enqo, meaning labyrinth, was a sacred site where the Incas carved passages, steps and altars into living rock. A zigzag channel on top may have carried chicha or blood for ritual offerings, and an underground chamber with a carved altar is thought to have been used for ceremonies connected to the dead.
