About
Opened in the early 2000s in the Casa Cabrera, a colonial house on Plaza de las Nazarenas, the museum draws on the collection of the Larco Museum in Lima. Its carefully lit galleries display ceramics, gold, silver and woodwork from many ancient Peruvian cultures, presented as works of art.
Best time to go: Visit in the evening, then eat in the restaurant in the museum's courtyard.
