About
Rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1650, the church's elaborate facade and towers were designed to rival the cathedral, much to the bishop's displeasure. Inside, a gilded altarpiece and paintings include a celebrated depiction of a marriage uniting Inca and Spanish noble families.
Best time to go: Climb to the choir loft for a view across the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral opposite.
