About
The Viennese painter Egon Schiele stayed in Krumlov in 1911, painting its crooked roofs until locals, scandalised by his lifestyle, drove him out. The centre, set in a Renaissance brewery building, shows reproductions and originals of his work alongside changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art.
Best time to go: A good choice for a rainy afternoon, with a café in the old brewery building.
