Brewing on this site goes back to the Rožmberk family in the sixteenth century, and the business later passed to the Eggenbergs and Schwarzenbergs. Tours show the brewhouse and cellars, and the restaurant serves hearty Czech dishes with beer brewed a few steps away.
Best time to go: Join a brewery tour, then stay for a Bohemian lunch and a fresh lager in the beer hall.
