Opened in 2006 as part of the Queensland Art Gallery, GOMA occupies a striking building of glass and long horizontal lines on the river at Kurilpa Point. Its collection focuses on modern and contemporary art from Australia, Asia and the Pacific, and it is known for the Asia Pacific Triennial and for major international exhibitions.
