About
The Bundesplatz spreads out in front of the domed Federal Palace, seat of the Swiss parliament and government. Its paving hides a fountain of twenty-six jets, one for each canton, that children dart through in summer, and the square hosts a lively produce market, seasonal events and, in late November, the traditional onion market.
Best time to go: Come on a Tuesday or Saturday morning when the market fills the square in front of parliament.
