نبذة

The palace was the residence of the Grand Master and the knights' administrative centre. Badly damaged by an explosion in 1856, it was reconstructed under Italian rule in the 1930s as a residence for Mussolini and the king, and today its halls display mosaics brought from Kos alongside exhibitions on ancient and medieval Rhodes.
