About
Founded in 1838, the museum occupies a former convent and ranges from old masters of the Utrecht school to fashion and modern design. It has a major collection of furniture by Gerrit Rietveld, works by the Utrecht Caravaggisti and a gallery devoted to the illustrator of Miffy, Dick Bruna.
Best time to go: Combine it with the Rietveld Schröder House, for which the museum sells tickets.
