About
The Gooderham and Worts distillery was founded here in the 1830s and grew into one of the largest in the world. After production ended in the 1990s, the red-brick warehouses were restored and the cobbled lanes closed to traffic. It is now one of the best-preserved collections of Victorian industrial architecture in North America.
Best time to go: Visit on a weekday afternoon to browse the galleries, or in winter for the festive market.
