About
Opened in 1902 and shaped by the landscape architect Carlos Thays, the park combines formal avenues with wide lawns and an artificial lake. Within it are a rose garden, a musical fountain, the Castagnino fine arts museum and the provincial historical museum, making it an easy place to spend most of a day.
Best time to go: Spend a weekend morning here, walking the rose garden and taking a boat on the lake before visiting the museums.
