About
Founded in the 1930s and named after its first director, Julio Marc, the museum gathers objects from across Argentina and the wider region. Its rooms display religious painting and sculpture from the colonial period, fine pieces of silver, historic weapons and furnishings, and archaeological finds from the pre-Hispanic cultures of the Americas.
Best time to go: Combine it with the Castagnino museum and the rose garden for a full day in Parque de la Independencia.
