About
Designed by the architect Moshe Safdie as his university thesis project and built for the 1967 World's Fair, Habitat 67 arranged prefabricated modules in a seemingly random stack. Each apartment has its own garden terrace. It remains a landmark of modern architecture, with views back to the Old Port and downtown.
Best time to go: View it from the Cité du Havre waterfront path, as the building itself is a private residence.
