About
The Museo de Arte de Lima is housed in the Palacio de la Exposición, built for an international exhibition in 1872. Its galleries run from pre-Columbian textiles and ceramics through colonial painting and silverwork to modern and contemporary Peruvian art, and it hosts major temporary exhibitions.
Best time to go: Visit in the morning, then walk through the surrounding Parque de la Exposición.
