About
Built in 1907 by the Jewish merchant Nesim Levi to spare residents a steep climb, the lift carries passengers up the cliff in the Karataş district. At the top, a terrace overlooks the bay, and the old Jewish quarter lies nearby.
Best time to go: Go up around sunset and enjoy a drink at the terrace at the top.
