About

The Pakistan Monument stands on the western part of the Shakarparian Hills and was built to represent the unity of the Pakistani people. Its four large petals stand for the Punjabi, Baloch, Sindhi and Pashtun cultures, while three smaller ones represent others, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. All seven converge over a central platform, and a heritage museum sits alongside.

Best time to go: Come near sunset for views across the city, then visit the heritage museum beside it.
