The bridge stands at the eastern end of the Bai Causeway and is one of the most romantic spots on West Lake. Its name comes from the way melting snow once made it look broken from a distance, and it features in the famous folk tale of the White Snake.
Best time to go: See it in the early morning mist, or after snowfall if you are lucky, when it earns its name.
