Planten un Blomen, Low German for plants and flowers, brings together several historic green spaces, including the old botanical garden. Its highlights are one of Europe's largest Japanese gardens, with a teahouse, a rose garden and tropical greenhouses. On summer evenings, fountains on the lake dance to music and coloured lights.
