About
Henri Dunant and four fellow Genevans founded the Red Cross in 1863, and the museum tells the story of humanitarian work from then to now. Its exhibitions deal with defending human dignity, restoring family links and reducing natural risks, and include the vast card index of prisoners of the First World War.
Best time to go: Combine it with the Palais des Nations, which stands just across the road.
