About

The palace was built between 1929 and 1938 for the League of Nations and became the UN Office at Geneva after the Second World War. Guided tours visit the Assembly Hall and the Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room, whose ceiling by Miquel Barceló drips with coloured stalactites.

Best time to go: Bring your passport and book a guided tour ahead; afterwards see the Broken Chair across the square.
