About
The collector Gustave Revilliod built the domed, Italianate building in the late nineteenth century and bequeathed it with his collections to the city. Today it is Switzerland's museum of ceramics and glass, tracing centuries of porcelain, faience and glassmaking from Europe, the Middle East and East Asia beneath a sumptuous central hall.
Best time to go: Pair it with a visit to the Palace of Nations next door and stroll the surrounding parkland.
