About
The rector, elected for a single month, lived and worked here during his term, unable to leave without permission. The palace mixes Gothic and Renaissance styles, with an elegant arcaded loggia and courtyard, and its rooms display furniture, portraits and documents from the republic.
Best time to go: Buy the combined museum ticket, which also covers several other sites in the old town.
