About
The Dubai Fountain was created by WET Design, the firm behind the fountains at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. It stretches for 275 metres across the artificial Burj Khalifa Lake and can send water up to around 150 metres high. Thousands of lights and coloured projectors turn each performance into a show, set to anything from classical pieces to contemporary Arabic and world music. It is billed as the largest choreographed fountain in the world.
Best time to go: Shows run in the evening; stand on the lakeside promenade or the bridge by Souk Al Bahar for a clear view.
