About
Opened in 2001 to house the collection of Eduardo Costantini, the museum occupies a sleek contemporary building in Palermo. Its galleries trace the art of Latin America from the early twentieth century onwards, with celebrated pieces such as Tarsila do Amaral's Abaporu and Frida Kahlo's self-portrait with a monkey and a parrot.
Best time to go: Visit in the afternoon, then walk through the nearby Palermo parks and the Floralis Genérica sculpture.
