À propos
The Dar Menebhi palace was built at the end of the nineteenth century for Mehdi Menebhi, a senior minister of the sultan. Restored as a museum, it shows ceramics, textiles, jewellery and contemporary art, but the building itself is the draw: a covered central courtyard with fountains, tiled floors and an enormous hanging brass lamp.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Pair it with the Ben Youssef Madrasa a few steps away, and pause in the courtyard beneath the great chandelier.
