À propos
First founded in the fourteenth century and rebuilt by the Saadian sultans in the 1560s, the madrasa once housed hundreds of students studying theology and law. Its central courtyard and reflecting pool are framed by some of the finest decoration in the city, and the tiny upstairs cells show how austere a student's life could be.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Visit mid-morning and climb to the upper floor to look down on the courtyard from the students' cells.
