À propos
The present cathedral was completed in 1905 in an opulent neo-Renaissance and neo-Baroque style, a statement of the Prussian monarchy's power. Heavily damaged in the war, it was restored over several decades. Visitors can see the richly decorated interior and great organ, climb to the outer gallery of the dome and descend to the crypt with its royal sarcophagi.
Meilleur moment pour y aller: Climb to the walkway around the dome for views over Museum Island, then visit the royal crypt.
