About
Opened in 2004 in a former tram power station, the museum recreates the atmosphere of the uprising through sounds, film, letters and reconstructed sewers. It honours the insurgents and civilians of 1944, and the 3D film City of Ruins shows how completely Warsaw was destroyed afterwards.
Best time to go: Allow plenty of time and arrive at opening, as it becomes crowded later.
