About
Jeongjo moved his father's tomb here in 1789, and he himself was later buried nearby with his queen. The grassy burial mounds, guarded by stone figures and approached by ceremonial paths, form part of the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty World Heritage Site and complete the story told by Hwaseong.
Best time to go: Walk the forest paths early on a weekday, when the tombs are at their most peaceful.
