This Catholic basilica stands on Piazzale Domus Plebis, beside the Church of Saint Peter on the northeastern edge of the city. It is the principal church of San Marino and honours Saint Marinus, making it one of the most important religious buildings in the Republic.
Best time to go: Visit as part of a walk through the historic centre, when the surrounding square and nearby churches can be seen together.
