About
Rebuilt under Hadrian around 125 AD, the Pantheon has been in continuous use for almost two millennia, as a church since the seventh century. The painter Raphael is buried inside. A small ticket now applies on most days.
Best time to go: Midday, when the sun through the oculus lights the dome; or at opening to avoid queues.
