About
Founded in 1895, the gallery holds a large collection of Australian and international art, with particular strength in Indigenous work from across the region. Its brutalist main building sits within the Perth Cultural Centre alongside the state museum and library, and a rooftop bar and sculpture terrace were added in recent years.
Best time to go: Focus on the Aboriginal art galleries and finish on the rooftop for views of the city.
