About
Opened in 1973 during the artist's lifetime, the museum was designed to show his seventeen large paintings of the Old Testament. Chagall also created its stained-glass windows and a mosaic reflected in the garden pool.
Best time to go: Weekday mornings; closed on Tuesdays.
